The Rafiki Beach Camp is a perfect base to explore the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Matapalo is nestled in close to the huge tourist destinations of Manuel Antonio, Dominical and Uvita, but our quiet surroundings will make you feel like you found a secret hideout amongst all the action. Manuel Antonio National Park

National park is about 30 minutes from the Beach Camp. The park is known for its abundant wildlife, white sand beaches, and stunning views. 

Hacienda Baru

Hacienda Baru is a private park started by Jack Ewing. The area is rich with flora and fauna and the guides are very informative. Only 10 minutes from the camp, this is a great option if you don't want to deal with the crowds in the Manuel Antonio.

Marino Ballena

Marino Ballena is located in the town of Uvita, 30 minutes south of Matapalo. The park is a hotspot for whale watching, snorkeling trip and exploring tides pools and coastal caves.

Nauyaca Waterfalls
